In the heart of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, a one-of-a-kind wine estate is becoming a reality. 
Here, thanks to a special form of public–private partnership, the Tenute Capaldo Group — and in particular its two wineries Feudi di San Gregorio and Basilisco — joins forces with the worlds most famous and most visited archaeological site in the management, historical enhancement of the vineyards, and wine production within the site itself.

Starting from the genetic material of Feudi di San Gregorio’s century-old vines in Irpinia, native grape varieties already cultivated in Roman times have been planted: Aglianico and Piedirosso for red wines, and Fiano, Greco, and Falanghina for white wine.
Between the Domus and the Stabiae area, the project integrates production, research, and education, offering visitors an immersive experience that connects wine with the millennia-old history of Campania.
